DMCA / Copyright Policy
At sayitwiththreadr, we genuinely care about doing things right — from the natural wood we use in our building block sets and Montessori-style toys, to the way we respect the creative work of others online. We take intellectual property seriously, and we're committed to honoring the rights of artists, designers, photographers, and content creators whose work makes the internet such a rich place for families and children.
This page explains how we handle copyright concerns under the Digital Millennium Copyright Act (DMCA), 17 U.S.C. § 512. If you believe your copyrighted work has been used on our site without permission, here's exactly what to do.
Our Commitment to Intellectual Property
We believe creativity deserves protection — just like the hands-on, imaginative play we encourage in children through our wooden puzzles, stacking toys, and sorting sets. sayitwiththreadr respects the intellectual property rights of all creators and content owners, and we will respond promptly and in good faith to any valid copyright infringement notice we receive.
How to File a DMCA Takedown Notice
If you are a copyright owner (or authorized to act on behalf of one) and you believe that content appearing on https://sayitwiththreadr.com/ infringes your copyright, you may submit a written DMCA takedown notice to our designated DMCA agent. To be valid under 17 U.S.C. § 512(c)(3), your notice must include all of the following information:
- Your signature: A physical or electronic signature of the person authorized to act on behalf of the copyright owner.
- Identification of the copyrighted work: A clear description of the copyrighted work you claim has been infringed. If multiple works are covered, a representative list is acceptable.
- Identification of the infringing material: Enough detail to allow us to locate the specific content on our site — such as the exact URL or page where the material appears.
- Your contact information: Your full name, mailing address, telephone number, and email address.
- Good faith statement: A statement that you have a good faith belief that the use of the material in the manner complained of is not authorized by the copyright owner, its agent, or the law.
- Accuracy statement: A statement, made under penalty of perjury, that the information in your notification is accurate, and that you are the copyright owner or are authorized to act on the copyright owner's behalf.

Counter-Notification Process
If you believe that content was removed from our site in error — for example, if you have authorization to use the material in question — you have the right to submit a counter-notification under 17 U.S.C. § 512(g). A valid counter-notification must include:
- Your physical or electronic signature.
- Identification of the material that was removed and the location where it appeared before removal.
- A statement under penalty of perjury that you have a good faith belief the material was removed or disabled as a result of mistake or misidentification.
- Your full name, mailing address, telephone number, and email address.
- A statement that you consent to the jurisdiction of the Federal District Court for the judicial district in which your address is located (or, if outside the United States, any judicial district in which sayitwiththreadr may be found), and that you will accept service of process from the person who submitted the original DMCA notice.
Upon receiving a valid counter-notification, we will forward it to the original claimant and may restore the removed content within 10–14 business days, unless the claimant informs us they have filed a court action to restrain the activity.
Warning: False Claims Are Serious
Please be aware that under 17 U.S.C. § 512(f), any person who knowingly and materially misrepresents that content is infringing — or that content was removed by mistake — may be held liable for damages, including costs and attorneys' fees. We take these obligations seriously, and we ask that you do too.
Repeat Infringement Policy
sayitwiththreadr reserves the right to terminate access or relationships with users, sellers, or partners who are found to be repeat infringers of intellectual property rights, in appropriate circumstances.
