At sayitwiththreadr, we stand behind every building block set, wooden puzzle, stacking toy, and Montessori-style wooden toy we send out — and we want you to shop with complete peace of mind. If something isn't quite right, we're here to make it right.

Our Return Window

You have 30 days from the date of delivery to request a return or exchange. We ask that items be in their original condition — unused, unassembled where applicable, and in original packaging — so the next little builder can enjoy them just as much as yours would have.

When you get in touch, please include your order number, the item(s) you'd like to return, and the reason for your return. We'll send you return instructions promptly.

Return Scenarios — What's Covered

Change of Mind

No worries — sometimes a set of sorting toys just isn't the right fit for your child's age or interests right now. If you've changed your mind, you're welcome to return the item within 30 days as long as it's unused and in its original packaging. In this case, the customer is responsible for return shipping costs. No restocking fee will be charged.

Damaged Items

If your wooden puzzle or building block set arrives damaged, we sincerely apologise — that's not the unboxing moment we want for your family. Please contact us within 30 days of delivery with a photo of the damaged item and packaging. We'll cover the return shipping and send you a replacement or a full refund — whichever you prefer.

Wrong Item Received

If we sent you the wrong toy — say, a stacking toy instead of the Montessori sorting set you ordered — that's entirely on us. Contact us and we'll arrange return shipping at no cost to you, and we'll get the correct item out to you right away (or issue a full refund if you'd prefer).

Defective Items

Real wood, built to last — that's our promise. If your toy arrives with a manufacturing defect, please reach out within 30 days with details and photos. We'll cover all return shipping costs and make it right with a replacement or full refund.

Item Never Arrived

US orders typically arrive within 5–9 business days via USPS; international orders within 10–20 business days. If your order hasn't shown up and is outside those windows, please contact us. We'll investigate with the carrier and, if the item is confirmed lost, we'll send a replacement or issue a full refund at no cost to you.

Restocking Fee

There is no restocking fee on any return. Ever. We believe shopping for your child's next favourite toy should be stress-free.

Refund Method & Processing Time

All approved refunds are returned to your original payment method. Once we receive and inspect the returned item, please allow 5–10 business days for the refund to appear in your account. Processing times can vary slightly depending on your bank or payment provider, but we'll notify you as soon as your refund has been issued.

Non-Returnable Items

For hygiene and safety reasons, we are unable to accept returns on items that have been used, assembled, or are missing original components. Items returned outside the 30-day window will not be eligible for a refund unless an exception has been agreed upon in writing by our team.
